1. Do you like going boating?
Absolutely, I am a big fan of boating which is a great outdoor sport. Being out in the fresh air and sunshine boosts your mood and contributes to your overall fitness. More importantly, as soon as you step off the dock, you have an unbridled sense of freedom.
2. Have you ever traveled by boat?
Oh, dozen times, I guess. Boating is the perfect way for me to unwind and reconnect in the natural environment. So, yeah, I always try to go on a boat trip while traveling near the water.
3. Would you like to have your own boat?
Oh yeah, I would do it with pleasure. I think it is an excellent investment and also a great fun and one of the best way to draw a family together.
Yes, definitely! I’ve been longing for a cruise tour for ages since I watched the film Titanic, it looked so cool and luxurious to be on a ship with restaurants, bars and everything on it. Also, you can enjoy the gorgeous sunset on the sea, so I think cruising is the best way to travel as long as the ship doesn’t crash with an iceberg like what happened in the film.
No, not really. I get seasick easily, so staying on a boat for too long is absolutely not a good idea for me. I still remember that I had a 30-minute boat tour when I was traveling on LIJIANG river and kept throwing up for 10 minutes afterward, it was a nightmare.
4. Is boat trip popular in your country?
No, not really, because China’s railway system is so advanced that most people under most circumstances will choose it over boat travel. but the sightseeing by boat on Changjiang river is a fun journey for many.
1. How often do you look at yourself in the mirror every day?
I would say, countless times. I think it is very common for a girl/boy to do so. In addition, I am a big fan of makeup, so I would like to treat my face better.
2. Have you ever bought the mirror?
Surely, I have to say that I can’t live without a mirror. From time to time I need to check my makeup and how I look in front of others. I think caring about your own image is a kind of showing respect to others.
3. Would you use mirrors to decorate rooms?
Yes, actually, I once installed a mirrored wall to decorate my study. You know, this room looks really larger than before. It’s easy for me to check my appearance as well as making my study looks bigger.
4. Do you often look at mirrors?
Definitely yes. I often look at mirrors in order to check my appearance. I’d like to guarantee that I look tidy and everything goes on well before leaving my home.
5. When do you look at yourself in the mirror, why?

Yes, I will. Before buying a mirror, I think I need to assure that I look elegant and tidy. In this case, I need to make a good preparation.
1.Are you interested in robots? Why?
Yes, I have to say that I am fanatical about robots. I used to watch a very touching movie named Cyborg girl, which tells the love story of a robot and her owner. we often think that robots can not think and love, but the movie has shown the opposite, by which I was deeply impressed.
2.Why are robots part of many TV shows and movies?
That’s a very interesting question! Scientists and science researchers improve techniques by testing advanced technologies with robots to better understand our world as well as the universe in the film-making field. The audience feels like they have superpowers while the television or film is speaking to them.
3. Would you like a robot to help out around the home?
I hope so! I’m in charge of making sure that everyone and everything is in the right place at home . Almost every day I am in need of urgent help. A robot, my most anticipated assistance , may reduce the frequency of my daily stress . It can become a part of my family .
4. Would you ride in a car driven by a robot?
I would love to have a car with a robot in it, but only if there is an option of manually driving the car as well. Having a robot every time in the car, will just take away the fun of driving the car. The fun that you get, the rush of reaching to a place, the fact that you can control something is amazing. Although, having a robot will help in having those long trips but a permanent driver is something I’ll avoid.
5.will robots replace human beings in the workplace completely?
Well, i don’t think so. Even though robots are massively replaceing human labour and this helps us avoid potential dangers as well as saving labour, the role of human beings is rereplaceable. We still need to control robots as well as find solutions for arising problems or process data as robots are still unable to do these tasks.
6.What kinds of robots would like to have?
Just as I mentioned, I really want to have a robot like Baymax. Since I am so busy with my study every day, I don’t have any time to do any housework. So it would be great to have a robot that could do laundry, cooking and cleaning for me, which could save me lots of time.
7.Will robots change our society significantly?
Technology has already made great changes to our lives, and have made a lot of jobs much easier. Therefore, I am sure there will continue to be changes. However, it is hard to say how significant they will be.
1. How often do you wear a watch?
Well, actually, I wear my watch every day and I think the watch plays an important role in our daily life. Everyday, I need to use my smartwatch not only to check the time and arrange my schedules but also record my daily movements as well as my sleep habits. So, my watch is very important to me, without which it would be impossible to do with time management as well as keeping up with my health.
2. What was your first watch like?
Well, that was an electronic watch. My mother bought it as a gift for my tenth birthday. The watch was golden, and there was a big Mickey mouse on its tail. It was really lovely.

Definitely yes, in the current society, people believe that it is very important to be punctual. In order to guarantee that they will never be late for the appointment, people always wear watches in my country. Besides, developments in technology allow people to record their personal health data easily on smartwatch. The sales of smartwatches are soaring during these years.
The trend that many companies hold virtual conferences and provide online training for their staff has become increasingly more popular recently. I personally think that the benefits of employing such as a form of technology in the workplace vastly outweigh the drawbacks.
On the one hand, I have to concede that conducting computer-based meetings and training sessions many leads to some undesirable results. Firstly, as people have to rely on particular online platforms like Skype for communication, any breakdown of the internet connection can interrupt or even bring the entire ongoing communication process to an abrupt end. This is such as frustrating experience that not business expects to undergo, especially when it comes to high-profile meetings. Secondly, due to the lack of face-to-face interaction, participants will be like to lose their concentration if the meeting lasts for hours. As a consequence, the quality and the outcome could turn out to be unexpectedly low.
However, I am more convinced of the advantages offered by distance communication. The first one is associated with cost-effectiveness, which is always of the top priority of a business. Companies have to incur several types of finances, which include training site rentals and other documentation costs, to be able to organize a conventional conference. By running online training programs, organizations could significantly cut back on unnecessary expenses and accordingly increase its profit. The timesaving manner of virtual meetings is another merit worth mentioning, which is particularly the case for transnational companies. The board of directors of Unilever, for example, do not need to spend hours on long-haul flights to meet one another for business development strategies. With technological aids, discussions can be conveniently conducted at their office desk.
In conclusion, despite the disadvantages regarding technical errors and attendees’ attention span, I am completely in favor of online business meetings and training programs since their benefits are much more considerable.
Task 1: The diagram shows the production of orange juice
Task 2: Maintaining public libraries is a waste of money since there is computer technology. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Some people opine that we can do away with traditional libraries because technology has given us the facility of virtual or online libraries. I, however, believe that even though technology has reduced our need to go to the libraries, our traditional libraries can never become redundant and maintaining them is not a waste of money.
I can understand why some think it wastes money to keep libraries open. The advent of new technologies like computers and Internet has transformed the shape of traditional libraries containing a large number of printed documents into paperless libraries containing only digitized documents. This has led to the creation of virtual libraries which the user has access to information at any time, anywhere in the world by using the modern tools of communications, such as computers and Internet facilities. Therefore, it is unnecessary to spend money on traditional libraries because fewer and fewer users use them.
However, I believe that libraries still play an important role these days. Firstly, a person goes to a library not only to search and get information from books but also to sit and study there. The ambiance and the peaceful and scholarly atmosphere of the library help one to concentrate more on one’s work and study. Secondly, Virtual libraries can be accessed only by those who are computer literate. For elderly or impoverished individuals who rarely have a chance to be exposed to cutting-edge technologies like computers or smartphones, it is much challenging to access information online than going to a traditional library.
To put it in a nutshell, I pen down saying that advancement should be welcomed in every field but the importance of the libraries for their fundamental role cannot be put aside, and that funding for them is not wasting financial resources.

Task 1: Table (The number of employees in England and Wales in 1851-1901)
Task 2: People living in large cities face several problems. What these problems? Should governments encourage to move to smaller towns?
It is true that nowadays people are shifting to larger cities. There are several negative consequences of this moot issue, and I would argue that to cope with the current problems, the authorities should encourage individuals to move to smaller cities or even to the countryside.
To begin with, this moving of an enormous number of people creates problems. One negative consequence is that the urban population would go on increasing and cause housing problems. This leads to the creation of underdeveloped slum areas, where underprivileged individuals must live in poor living conditions like lacking medical care or even drinking water. Another problem is that as the population in cities increases, the number of people staying in towns and villages where most farming and agricultural activities to produce food take place gradually decrease. Consequently, there might be a situation when food harvesting steps down, and this, in turn, produces food scarcity.
On the other hand, it seems to me that governments should take steps to move a certain number of city dwellers to less populated areas. The main reason is that shifting people to towns or even the countryside helps to decrease the unemployment rate. This is because as more and more people apply for the same position within a company, it may intensify the competition among employees, making it significantly more difficult to be chosen. Towns, however, due to the industrialization, are now able to provide different jobs for engineers or officers in new factories. Therefore, by encouraging job seekers to move to these newly developed areas, the government can lower the number of unemployed individuals in cities.
In conclusion, an increasing number of people living in cities certainly creates housing problems and food scarcity, and I believe that the government should encourage its citizens to migrate to towns to because of the reason mentioned above.

You should say
and explain why you like wearing it.
People around the world wear different sorts of dresses and due to geographical location and seasonal changes, the attires vary. I always prefer wearing jeans clothes, especially jeans pant and shirt.
Jeans are common clothing items and are available around the world and mostly popular among the youths who are of my age. I wear jeans pant and shirt always even when I attend in any formal occasion. The most important benefit of wearing jeans clothing is that they do not become dirty as easily as the other types of clothes do. Moreover, you can have the pant and shirt of all size and shape and are sold at a reasonable price. They are found in different colours and attractive designs too. It makes the look smarter in some cases than the formal attires.
Usually, the jeans cloth is like all the other available clothes, and produced from jean fabric but it is special in the sense that it lasts longer than the other clothes. Jeans is a bit heavier in weight and thus the attires made with the cloths are of higher quality. Besides, the colours are also attractive and able to get attentions of the surrounding people for the distinguished design. The pants and shirts made with jeans cloths are like usual shirt and pants but you can use them both for formal and informal purposes whereas the other clothes are not suitable to serve the same purpose simultaneously.
